The African Tale - Leonid Aristov
A short, animated Soviet commentary on colonialism in Africa. Poignant and succinct, and probably one of the best drawn depictions of an African person by a non-African country in this era. It depicts colonizers as violent, cunning animals and the African man as a noble, intelligent and hard-working person fighting for the rights to his native land.
